Teri Strong, PhD

Dr. Strong has more than 25 years’ experience in clinical, educational and managerial positions.  In 2014, she launched an innovative private practice in Eugene, Strong Integrated Behavioural Health, LLC, with the mission of partnering with clients and their team of treatment providers to promote optimal health and wellbeing through compassionate, coordinated care. To that end, she leads a team of experienced psychologists, licensed clinical social workers and licensed professional counselors, who provide integrated psychological services onsite in primary and specialty care medical clinics in the Eugene/Springfield communities.  The team also provides a wide range of outpatient psychological services, including psychological assessment and psychotherapy services in their clinic at 66 Club Road in Eugene.

Dr. Strong's clinical work focuses on the treatment of chronic pain and illness; stress and anxiety disorders, including OCD, posttraumatic stress disorder and generalized anxiety disorder; depression; bipolar disorder; eating disorders; relationship problems and grief and loss/adjustment issues. She also has extensive experience providing training and organizational development in a variety of professional settings. She serves on the faculty of Oregon State University and previously served on the faculty of the University of Oregon.  She regularly provides clinical supervision for psychologists and counselors in training.  She has served in numerous leadership positions within professional associations including current service on the American Psychological Association Council of Representatives Leadership Team, and is a past president of both the Oregon Psychological and the Lane County Psychologists’ Association. She is also a charter member of the Pain Society of Oregon.
