Christy Sherman, Ph.D.


Christy is a licensed psychologist who works with adults dealing with chronic health issues, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, adjustment to life transitions, stress, grief and loss, relationship issues, and other life challenges. In addition, Christy also performs presurgical psychological evaluations for pain patients who are candidates for spinal cord simulators and intrathecal pumps. Christy has worked for several years in integrated behavioral health in a primary care setting as well as doing outpatient psychotherapy. Prior to this, she was a behavioral researcher for several years with a focus on health education, women's reproductive health and STI prevention.
