Tirsa received her master’s degree in Rehabilitation counseling and took additional counseling course
work at Utah State University to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. Tirsa has diverse
experience working in inpatient and outpatient settings, with a variety of mental health issues, including:
anxiety, trauma, PTSD, depression, conduct disorders, and Severe and Persistent Mental Illness.
Tirsa offers therapy services to children aged 14 years or older, adolescents, young adults, and adults
dealing with issues related to depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and severe persistent mental illness.
Her therapeutic approach includes behaviorist techniques, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with a focus on mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and
Solution Focused Therapy. Tirsa approaches the counseling relationship from a framework of acceptance
and compassion to help empower individuals to make necessary changes to overcome struggles and live
