      Dr. Kemp has more than 25 years of experience providing psychological assessment and intervention, as well as education and training of graduate students and early career professionals in psychology. As Strong Integrated Behavioral Health’s Training Director, Dr. Kemp oversees the post-graduate and graduate-level training of our psychologists, clinical social workers and professional counselors. Dr. Kemp’s clinical work includes psychotherapy and consultation services provided within a feminist-multicultural biopsychosocial model. Dr. Kemp has an active style and enjoys assisting adults and couples toward their identified goals in ways that complement their values, lifestyle, and personality. Dr. Kemp’s primary areas of focus include issues related to Bipolar, Attention Deficit, Anxiety, Depressive, Substance Abuse, and Schizoaffective Disorders.  She enjoys working on issues related to identity including disability and chronic illness, ethnicity, gender orientation, sexual orientation, and relational affiliation. Dr. Kemp uses a harm reduction model for treatment of substance abuse and is equally comfortable providing therapy within an abstinence model. Dr. Kemp is available for comprehensive psychological assessments for diagnosis and treatment planning and pre-medical intervention assessments, including transgender evaluations.
 
   Dr. Kemp provides clinical supervision for psychologists and psychologists-in-training, and has taught courses in Psychopharmacology, Co-occurring Disorders, Psychological Assessment, and Advanced Interventions. Dr. Kemp is past chair of the Colleague Assistance Committee for the Oregon Psychological Association, and is a past president of the Lane County Psychologists’ Association.
