I would like to be able to support you to discover how you can be a part of your healing process, how to feel less helpless in the face of problems and get back to what is truly important to you such as building relationships with those you love and doing activities you enjoy.

You can expect a safe environment to explore what is best for you to heal and recover and we can work together to find effective ways of coping that suit you. We would be focusing on skills that you can take outside the therapy session to reduce pain and emotional distress and to gain a greater sense of control over emotions that feel overwhelming.

Over the years as a therapist, mother and fellow human, I have experienced and witnessed our enduring resilience to overcome significant obstacles in our past and present-day lives. With the training I have sought out in EMDR for Trauma and EMDR for Chronic Pain, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing (SE),  Sensorimotor psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other psychotherapeutic trainings, is my way to provide to you a more visible path to hope and meaning. 

As your therapist, I see myself as a guide that can assist you to discern what changes you can make and to recognize the best decisions for yourself. I believe in the capacity of each person having the wisdom and knowledge within themselves to become their own healer and I can help you find and activate your ability to heal.
