Amy Johnson, LPC

Amy graduated from Oregon State University in 2005 with a Masters of Science degree in Counseling. Over the last 11 years she had the opportunity to serve in a variety of settings; from school based, to outpatient, and more intensively in day treatment. Amy has direct experience in working within community based non-profits, school districts, and hospital settings.

She offers therapy services to children aged 4 years or older, adolescents, young adults, adults and families dealing with issues related to depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, parenting, child behavior problems and stress. Her core belief is that people should be safe and feel heard. She believes an integrated holistic treatment approach offers the highest quality of care. Her therapeutic approach includes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, focus on mindfulness, Collaborative Problem Solving, biblotherapy, play therapy and art modalities.

Amy and her family have lived in different parts of the Northwest but Eugene is where she grew up. She and her family enjoy camping, fishing, traveling and life outdoors on their farm.
